To function correctly the human body needs nutrients. We get the nutrients we need from the food we eat - or do we? The majority of people will cook their food, and this simple everyday action will rob them of the valuable nutrients the food contains in its raw state.
Cooking food alters its chemistry, which often makes the food harder to digest. Lots of people in this country have digestive problems, because they are eating food in a way that their bodies were not made to cope with.
If you have ever suffered from the misery of constipation, you would definitely benefi from eating more raw food because it contains more fibre and has a higher water content. Every bodily function will improve due to increased blood flow and clearing of any obstructions.
It is very important for blood to flow properly in our bodies in order to remove poisonous metabolites, and so oxygen and nutrients reach our living cells.
This country is facing an obesity epidemic, and the diet industry is worth millions. Have you ever wondered why most diets don’t work? It’s because we are practically guaranteed to overeat simply by the way we prepare our food.
You should eat at least 75% raw food in order for your body to receive the amount of nutrients it really needs. You can eat and eat and feel “stuffed”, but it doesn’t mean that your body is truly satisfied.
The body can function like the efficient machine it is meant to be if it receives the correct nutrients. It can concentrate on transporting vitamins, fluid, oxygen and those all important enzymes to each and every cell, instead of having to expend energy ridding the body of toxins found in cooked food. This process will help to speed up your metabolism too.
If you want to lose weight naturally, start eating a raw food diet so your brain will not need to send out signals to eat because your body will be properly satisfied. Always think quality over quantity!
